1Places & Collections
Junk Bucket is getting a powerful new organizational layer. Locations let you separate bins by physical space. Collections let you curate virtual groupings of items across any bin. Zones let you divide a bin's interior into named sections. Every layer is optional, and your existing bins are untouched. Whether you're organizing a craft room, a storage unit, or a jewelry collection that spans three bins and a ziplock bag — Junk Bucket now fits the way you actually think about your stuff. Note: Currently working on locations. This will allow you to group buckets into locations like "Storage Unit", "Garage", "Closet", or anything else. An interesting use case is something like "Food & Pantry" and "Refrigerator". That's sort of a location, and it works pretty well. You can search for spaghetti sauce or milk. Junk Bucket Turns into a quasi pantry inventory! We'll probably release this first.

Start Your Bucket Brigade - Household Bucket Sharing
Junk Bucket is a household tool, so the whole brigade should be able to use it. Soon you'll be able to invite anyone to join your "Bucket Brigade" and search and catalog stuff. They get their own account, you keep control, and everyone stops asking "where did you put my stuff?!" Moving? Packing up? Be the packing-up duo you've dreamt of!

"Rummager" Semantic Search
Stop trying to remember exactly what you called it. Rummage Mode searches the way your brain works — describe what you're looking for in plain language and Junk Bucket finds it, even if those exact words were never used. "Camping stuff", "holiday decorations", "tools for the deck"... just rummage. We're planning to make this available on paid plans.
